This album cover was created for a collaboration project between producer and artist with the goal to release one single a month purely for the love of the game. With this in mind, their focus is on pop music: “We find Pop music attractive for its high energy, dance-party potentiality, and ability to uplift the spirits of nod-your-head-guys and shake-your-hips-gals alike.”
“Give Love a Try” is the first single released for this project, and we were generously asked to participate by creating artwork. The photography was shot by Kristin Will and then sent to us for the type treatment, cropping and layout. We are excited to see how the rest of the series turns out. Here is an older project (5-6 months ago) that was completed for a friend of ours. We handled both the photography and type treatment on this project.
“Remember the Night” by The Understudies is a single that was mastered by Manhattan-based house The Vault and released on iTunes. The Understudies is a rockin’ group of talented individuals based in the Washington D.C. area who blend rock, blues and pop into a brand all their own. They have plenty more music to share with you all, and you should definitely check out a show if you live/ever find yourself in the D.C./VA/MD area (link below).
